Hi GGTC! After two amazing years as Run Director, I’m excited to step into the role of Bike Director for 2026!
I was born and raised in Spain and came to the US over ten years ago to play college tennis in New Orleans. After a lifetime chasing tennis balls, I swapped my rackets for running shoes and fell head-over-heels for endurance sports. I moved to San Francisco in 2018, picked up road biking and floating (or swimming, if you can call it that), but didn’t dare race a triathlon—until GGTC changed that. Since joining the club in 2021, I’ve crushed previous running PRs, raced more than 10 triathlons (including 3 Half Ironman), and run two marathons!
GGTC has really helped me structure my training and achieve a level of fitness I never thought possible. But honestly, the best part is the community around it! The energy, support, and friendships have forever changed the way I feel about sports and push me every day to be and do better. That spirit is what inspired me to dive deep into the cycling world in 2025—racing crits, road races, gravel events, and even tackling the epic Haute Route in the French Alps with over 30,000ft (or 9,000m for my European friends) of climbing. I fell in love with the sport, and now, as Bike Director, I want to bring that same excitement and sense of adventure to every member in the club.
Looking ahead to 2026, I’m planning to race more crits, explore new gravel routes, and maybe sneak in a trail running race or two (Sean O’brien anyone?). Who knows—maybe I’ll even jump into triathlon again! If you’ve got a cool race on your calendar or a wild idea for an adventure, let’s connect—I’m easily convincible and always down for a challenge!
